Dr. Gould received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut in 1973. He went on to graduate from the New England College of Optometry in 1981, where he was honored with the Beta Sigma Kappa Silver Medal Award for graduating second in his class. Trained at the Eastern Blind Rehabiliation Center, Dr. Gould was specialty certified in Low Vision care. He was also an extern at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology, where he received comprehensive medical eye care training. Dr. Nicholas Sostilio

Dr. Sostilio graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry in 2019. He completed externship training at Somers Eye Center in New York, the Keller Army Hospital at West Point Academy, and the Newington VA Hospital here in Connecticut. During his time at SUNY, he was very active in the private practice and business management community. He is the past president of the Student Optometric Association for Private Practice (SOAPP) at SUNY and was the Treasurer for the national organization the Student Optometric Leadership Network (SOLutioN).
